Meet Karin Murphy, LPC, CT, GC-C
Let me help you find your way forward.
No matter where you live in Pennsylvania and Delaware, I can meet you where you are.
You’re in the right place.
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
I help adults from all walks of life work through different types of loss. I offer a personalized approach supported by a wide range of evidence-based clinical theories and creative therapeutic techniques.
I love what I do, and it’s my highest priority to provide you care that is full of compassion, understanding and authenticity.
What would it mean to you to have someone hear your story, really listen to understand your struggle, and help you learn ways to carry the unexpected?
To get started, we will:
explore what’s getting in your way
discover what parts are the most difficult for you at this time
uncover what’s making you feel stuck.
To move forward, we will:
work toward creating new ways of coping
highlight the strengths you already possess
use books, podcasts, articles and other resources to help you integrate what you’re learning in session outside of our time together.
Therapy with me offers you:
Nonjudgment
Safe, supportive space to talk about the highs, the lows, the things you have wanted to say but haven’t been able to
Authenticity
A genuine, collaborative approach that encourages you to come into session just as you are
Connection
A warm, therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard and understood
Compassion
A gentle, caring approach focused on active listening and understanding
